Step 1:

Chickpeas (chole/ channa) 1 cup (Overnight soaked)
Tomato 1 large
Coriander chopped (hand full)
Green Cardamom 4
Black cardamom 1
Cloves 4
Cinnamon 2 sticks
Black pepper 5-6
Water 4 – 5 cups

Add all these ingredients in pressure cooker and cook/ boil it for 1 hour.

Step 2:

Yogurt 1 cup
Red chilli powder 1 teaspoon
Turmeric half teaspoon
Salt as per taste
Dry coriander 1&1/2 teaspoon
Garam Masala 1 teaspoon
Chaat Masala 1 teaspoon

Mix all step 2 ingredients to make a yogurt mixture.

Step 3:

Oil 4 tablespoon
Kalonji half teaspoon
Onion 1 small chopped
Garlic and ginger chopped 1 tablespoon
Dry methi 1 teaspoon

1. Fry step 3 ingredients until golden fry.
2. Than add yogurt mixture and cook it until oil separates.
3. Add chickpeas and cook it for 10 to 15 minutes.
4. Add dry methi.

Step 4: Tarka

Zeera 1 teaspoon
Kashmiri Red Chilli powder 1 tablespoon
Oil 3 tablespoon

Make tarka and put on channa masala / chole masa.
